We have continued work on both non-chronological reports and narrative poetry in English. We finished creating our report about the life of a river and have started to type this up onto the computer. Having tracked a series of characters through the story in The Highwayman poem, we thought about the different main events in the story. We also investigated some images drawn by Charles Keeping to illustrate Alfred Noyes work by identifying lines and evidence in the poem he may have used to guide his creativity.

In other areas of the curriculum this week, we have learned about a range of features found on rivers and the ways human beings change the course of rivers to make their lives easier and investigated a range of factors which affect the speed with which water evaporates. We finished to week with some more "Aboriginal" art.
