We had a good last week of term, completing our weaving and making the panels into Christmas cards which we photographed before taking them home. Most of us also had time to make other types of Christmas cards or decorations too. Some of us managed to make calendars as well. We made 3D floral arrangements from white card by forming petals, flower centres and leaves, glued these onto a card backing sheet and then added a 2014 calendar tab.

In English, we continued with our Mr. Men stories and, on Tuesday, we did a review test covering this half-terms areas of maths learning.
We had our party on Wednesday afternoon, which was a very good event, and this morning we had our school Carol Service in which Year 5 reprised our stable animal poem and years 3 and 4 also provided items. The choir also performed two pieces.
