4th to 8th July
This has been a "different" week at school with lots of special events which meant that there was scarcely a day when we were in the classroom for all our normal lessons.
On Tuesday morning we participated in a Sports Day at The Wheldon School with other Year 5 pupils from other junior and primary schools in our family.
On Thursday afternoon we went to Carlton Digby School to learn some songs for a concert at St. James' Church together with our Year 2 buddies and some Carlton Digby students.
On Friday morning we went to the Infant School to see their end of year production which was called "Once upon a time..."
In addition to this, a good number of the class were involved in cycle training on Wednesday afternoon. In between all these activities, we did manage to do some maths (about percentages) and English (finishing off our Grandpa Chatterji work by looking at the development of the "Grandpa Leicester" character and a biography of the author, Jamila Gavin). We also made further progress with our digital video and our technology work.
