We have begun a new unit of work in English this week, concentrating on play scripts and thinking about how narrative prose can be transformed into a script for a play and vice versa. We have revised the key features of scripts and how they differ from normal fiction texts, annotated a script to highlight these features and put a section of the script into prose. We have also re-written a short story as a play - including a cast list, scenery description and stage directions as well as the actors' lines.

In maths, we have been working on calculations involving decimal numbers as well as sequencing decimals and identifying numbers intermediate between two decimal numbers. As well as our French, PE and PSHCE sessions, we have done some more LOGO work in ICT and had a go at the second part of the practice SATs test that we did last week.
