In maths this week we have been working on a range of maths problems including fraction problems and ones involving ratio and proportion. We also spent some time revising the written method to do long multiplication. We have been focusing on different kinds of writing in English. We did some more poetry early in the week before revisiting argument writing and finally report writing on Friday when we had our Friday English and maths groups.

We have been thinking about plant structure and function in science, moving on to a revision of the processes of pollination and fertilisation. In ICT we have had a couple of sessions using LOGO, trying to build procedures to help create more complex programs. We had PE, French and finished the week with art, beginning some water colour paintings.
