24th and 25th April
We have continued with our work on developing characterisation in our story writing by thinking about the things different character-types would normally do and say and how they would normally respond and speak in different situations. Today, in English, we reviewed our answers to the practice Reading Test that we did earlier in the week.
In maths, we have been looking at a range of different types of questions about shape and solving problems which rely on knowledge of properties of shape. Today our focus was 3D shapes and nets that might be used to construct them.
We have also done some more science revision (this time using a BBC video to revisit work about adaptation and food chains that we covered earlier in the year), PE and art. (This week we were painting trees again.)
