14th to 16th April
In English this week we have been concentrating on improving the quality and range of our sentences in fiction writing. We have done some exercises on writing descriptions of different sorts of characters that could appear in stories and also written longer episodes trying to maintain the quality.
We have worked on aspects of number in maths, including multiples and factors and have also had a go at the calculator paper and mental maths paper from last year's Mathematics SATs test. We have continued our science revision by working on some of the "physics" areas of the curriculum including forces and light. Yesterday we had our weekly PE session with the YMCA and also did French and PSHCE.
