10th and 11th March
We have been taking a break from our "argument and discussion" writing in English to look at some poetry. We have studied a series of poems, thinking about the structure, rhyme and rhythmic patterns and use of figurative language as well as theme and meaning.
In maths we have moved on from work on fractions to calculations involving percentages and, today, we also began thinking about ratio and proportion. Yesterday we did a little control work in ICT and had a music lesson while today, in addition to our French, PE and PSHCE, we watched the Year 3 and 4 concert.
