We wrote some more poetry today. We used thesauruses (or thesauri!) to find synonyms of words we wanted to use and, in each line of our poems we used two words, closely similar in meaning, showing our understanding of the one with the most extreme or intense meaning. We did a little more on negative numbers in maths today before thinking about multiplying numbers (including decimal numbers) by 10, 100 or 1000.

We completed our "mystery suitcase" task this afternoon by recording the conclusions that we were able to draw from each piece of evidence that we found in the case. We finished the day with PE which included some throwing skills work and small team games.
