15th and 16th November
We have been thinking about shape in maths, concentrating on quadrilaterals and the properties of quadrilaterals. We have labeled diagrams, listed properties and played games to help us remember names and properties of the different shapes.
We had a story writing "test" on Tuesday before our weekly PE session with the YMCA, French and handwriting.
Today we began a new area of work in English, learning more about play scripts. Today we made notes about the features of a playscript and then converted part of the script into a story. This afternoon we had a science afternoon to begin another new area of work - a study of light.
