14th November
In English today we finished our work on narrative writing by reviewing our homework which focused on "Mac's Short Adventure" and then by thinking about how we can plan to develop characters in our story. Our maths lesson concentrated on finding the area and perimeter of rectangles. We found areas both by counting and by measuring and calculating.
We finished the main work in our short science topic about electric circuits by writing up last week's work and finding out how lengths of fuse wire (high resistance wire) effects the brightness of bulbs in a circuit. We used a series of web sites to find out about Anderson Shelters in history, using the information to begin writing a report about shelters.
