In maths today we did some work on rounding numbers to the nearest whole number - and then to the nearest tenth, before continuing with our problem solving. We spent some more time looking at The Highwayman today, this time thinking about the use of simile and metaphor in the poem. We did our weekly spelling and tables test and played bench-ball in PE.

We finished the day by beginning our new science topic on Sound. We thought about the question, "What is sound?" and looked at a series of simple instruments to discover the way in which it vibrated in order to produce the sound.
