We continued our problem solving in maths looking at different ways of recording solutions to maths problems including the use of brackets to show which parts of the calculations need to be done first.

In English, we completed our work using scanning strategies to help find answers to questions quickly in information texts and then did some further work on grammar, making sure that the verbs in a passage match the tense and the nouns/pronouns.

This afternoon we had our final swimming session of the year and then we did some music. We worked at some rhythm patterns and some dance movements which fit together with the music and change at signals given by percussion instruments in the accompaniment.
