11th January

In maths we learned about the use of bracket in maths - that they are used to tell you the parts of a calculation that should be done first. We also looked at some problems which had different solutions (such as: If fish costs £2 and chips cost £1, what could I have bought if I spent £11?).

In English, we looked at a text from our history topic about the lives of children in ancient Greece and used our information retrieval skills to search for information and extract it to produce a table contrasting the lives of boys and girls.

This afternoon the class had its PE session with YMCA and the had Spanish and handwriting.
